Traveling in the dark, I see myself drifting off
Floating away through the unknown, somehow I don't feel enough

Threatened along the way, I don't know what lays ahead
Surely there is now delay, waiting for me is no other then death

There is a light, a light I can hardly see
what is that, in this dark night, is it out to get me...

(Something has been triggered)

No it can't be true, it's not my time to go
I'm only passing... ...by... ...the thoughts of you
I say no to this, nóóó!!!

(Moaning sound)

I wish I could've written all my misery down
I wish I could've cried it all away
Teardrops fallin', screaming the pain out of my heart
No one listens to what I had to say nor wanted

Did they have to see what hurt I've seen!
Did they have to hear from what I was running from!
Did they even feel the pain that made me want to hide forever?
Would they have even listened if they did?

Why?

Why wouldn't they listen to me
My pain and sorrow are so unbearable
But they are also so unbelievable!

Why? (screaming)

Why won't they see that I'm crawling deeper into my self?
My heart is bleeding, my soul restless

The dead march

"The march of the undead".

The troops march on, they have no fear of death.
These corpses feel no pain, nothing dares to cross their path.

Their faces tell no emotions, only the hunger for slaughter.
Raping, killing and burning everything down to the floor.

Everything silent during the day, at night the soulless bodies thrives.
The undead make their ways, from city to village, making sure no one survives.

The troops march on, they have no mercy for the living.
These soulless carcasses are in need of flesh and blood, only pain will be given.

The sound of flesh being torn from the bones, corpses work as of one mind.

Some people complain constantly, others only follow
Some are special, the most are just shallow

While others just wait and see, a few are there for a cause
One listens, another takes a sacrifice and yet another says: "just because"

A bunch of people say that: "we are here for a reason"
Others are only there for the pleasure of a season

A lot of people are fighting for their lives, one from hunger the other from diseases
Others benefit from it and just do what their pleases

Let the truth be told, we are all the same on the outside, gender aside.
Yes, we are made from flesh and bones, but our meaning of what is

Stop the inhumanityGive a plow for the grains.
Not guns to blow out the brains.

Give gas to cook a meal.
Not gas to kill for an ideal.

Clean water is an issue, not for us, we buy it.
They make nice things out of the bottles, for some profit.

Feed the hungry human.
Not the one who is killing, man.

Billions were given, nothing arrives.
Millions still die, in the end only the rich survive.

If money is the cure, weapons wouldn't be bought.
Food and medicin are needed, only battles have been fought.

Blood has been shed, tears have flown.
Hunger has taken his own course, has the answer been shown.

Self ignition

"SELF IGNITION"

Hot-tempered as ever, heating up as usual.
Being a hothead, hating you all.

Stepping on my toes, standing in my way.
Boiling my bolts out, still keeping the flames at bay.

Can't keep it much longer under control
The inner fire is heating up the coal.

Get out of my face or can you keep up the pace.

Getting my gas burning, is that what you desire.
Churning my mood, unleashing unto you is my hellfire.

Like a cigarette in an astray, ashes and flesh still flaring.
Another victim of my self ignition.

What is fear?Do you know what fear is?
Some people say death or dying.
Is that really our greatest fear?
Fear from when it 's our time to get flying.

I would say, losing my beloved ones!
Others would say, the unknown.
Is this really what scares us?
Unknown, tales that lead a life of their own.

Believe what you want to ...
I, myself, want nothing but the truth be told.
Is the truth too much for us to take?
No fear exists, when nothing is withheld.

They start when children are young and easily scared.
We grow up and keep feeding our fears and phobia.
With our fears also to be a life lesson, hard learned.
There is no perfect world we don't liv

Are you struggling from pain, one of the fallen.
A warrior to the world, a defeated body full of pain on the inside.
A disruption in life, making you feel weak and vulnerable.
Treatment, a life extension, making you disappear for the world outside.

Medication given, not making it any better, the end is still near.
Another young life has fallen into the depths of endless agony.
Family is lost, not able to help, only to see their beloved ones wither away.
A lot of false hope floating through life, a scenery of unhumanity.

Making victims every day, around the clock, around the world.
These men have no mercy, no one stands in their way.

The only way is to say no and turn away.
But behold the tricks, they are willing to pull on you all.

Slam the door in their faces, make haste, they are in on you with paces.
These men have no honor, nothing will stop them.

This is the age of the serpents, crawling from all directions.
This is the way how they work, leaving you deeper in defections.

What gives you the right to kill another man?
Is a wrong stare enough to pull your strings!
What about something that doesn't follow your plan?
Or is life itself just playing your buttons?

What right do you have, when the problem is you!
Only you can decide which path to follow
What goes around in your head, thoughts about what to do?
Kill or not to kill, I hope it's to much to swallow!

If you think it's your right, you're surely mistaken
Killing is nobody's right, believe me!
No creature's life is here for you to break it
We are all here to make the best of it, not to be stolen by thee

I think their crisp white shirts need a little less starch
It is their leaders that shall pay when all is dead

A day of the moon

_{When the morningsun joins the moon to cross the day.
The moon gently fades away, while the sun enlightens everything and everyone.
The moon is nowhere to be seen, but not gone.

When it's starts to rain, a rainbow shows himself.
The moon nearly visible, is cut in half.
The sun reaches it's highest point, the rainbow has joined.

Both sun and rainbow start their journey, to end another day.
The moon rises and makes no delay, he allready starts to glow.
The stars come up for the show.

Now moon and stars rule the sight.
The sun takes a bite, the moon doesn't worry.
He isn't in a hurry. He's there for the whole night.
The stars hang on tight.

As soon as the moon is only a thin line.

The stars know it... ...the tree knows it too... ...he will shine...

...he maybe looks torn...

...but soon...

...very soon...

...a new moon will be born!!!

My contribution for the funny Poetry Contest. By `Flutterings

I didn't win, but I'm very proud of this one, this is my first poem, I've ever wrote in my entire life.

But the contest is over, I made some adjustments.

I've changed the bottom (signed ... ... A tree) part and the title. Now it's more like the view of the tree at the moon. He sees the moon cross, being chased by the sun and return later to laugh at the sun again. And he is telling this story. This poem of the moon.
